I like the beginning of this song, I can't exactly relate to the second part. The saddest part is realizing that should you be in that situation, the call probably won't come.

@anakouchild i was in a similar position few years ago. so was one of my friends. only he was more sure than i was. told me to meet at our usual place in the park. we talked for a while. he then pulled a knife out and said he had to end his sufferin. his father had been killed in the Iraq war the year before. he and i both had also been bullied for the past 10 years. he went to stab himself and i managed to stop it but the knife went into my gut instead. i know i am here to protect.

Nice fluffy little song about "the call". One would like to think at that moment a call would come or a knock on the door .... Something. But reality is many people die without a call in fact could be days before anyone finds them. Most Americans care more about dogs than fellow human beings.

Losing a buddy like this is terrible. Call your friends, or someone you are thinking about but haven't talked to in a while. You have no idea what they could be going through. Semper Fi Sergeant Gomez. You will always be remembered.

@stksid I agree about the video...It's amazing. I would have been ok just listening to the song but watching the video, I was in tears by the end of it. Wonderful song

this makes me so sad april 16th of this year it will be 2 years since i lost i very good friend of mine i kinda wish i woulda never had moved away from him. it fells like if i didnt i could have talked him out of it. noone wanted to tell me he hung himself except for my bestfriend who lived only a couple houses down from him
