@SalvatoreT22 Yeah, everything you said is true. That's just one side of it though. I mean, look at Companies like Walmart. Walmart absolutely does not care about their Employees. They try to keep everyone Part time to keep from paying their health Insurance. Do you think that Company Cares at all about their workers? I've been exploited plenty in my life time, and, how could I care about the company when I worked an extra hour of O/T everyday, with no extra money other than my 8 hrs wage?

It all good when the money is rolling into the companies pocket, when things slow down...people lose jobs to keep the companies profits up. When the company does well....they make a crap load...but in slow down...sorry about your luck bud I can't aford to keep you = my condo in Mexico will still be there if i lose you.

I have the right to judge construction bc I am an owner of a company. The realestate market dropped its been almost impossible to keep workers on the payroll. If a home is selling for 300 thous and it cost me 400 to build the math is easy we do not work.the unions did nothing to help lower their rates so we can keep working.they would rather have men sit on the bench. I am a believer of doing whatever to put food on the table and keep men working.most union contractors are small.less than 20men

@bjovi12 There is no common misconception here. I employed union workers for years because i had to due to the location of work other wise i would of hired open shop people who are just as capable. Do you have any idea what it cost an employer to put one union worker to work. Around 3,700 per week plus match the ss and 6 dollars and 80 cents per 100 for work mans comp insurance. All I am saying Is that they are grossly over paid. do you hire union workers to do work in your house.
